What is Shapeshifter?

What is Shapeshifter:

ShapeShifter is a new multitasking, color-supporting Apple Macintosh emulator for the Amiga. It does not need any "dongle"-hardware as it's compeditors  AMaxIV  (though it can use the additional ports found on the AMaxII+/IV card!) and  Emplant  do. And it is cheap. Only 5% to 10% of what they ask for the others.


What is Shapeshifter NOT:

ShapeShifter does not allow the use of any special Apple Macintosh hardware like NuBus cards, ADB add-ons or any PDS gfx- and cpu-cards. Neither features it the special RS422 style serial connectors.


Why use any Macintosh-emulator:

For gamers:
· You want to play DOOM...
· Liked to kick Darth Vader in the ass...
· You know what "LLAP" means and want to take a drink in "10-forward"...

For students:
· only Prof. Hawking can help you understand the universe...
· several 100 bugs is not your kind of money for decent mathematics...
· You need foot- and endnotes in your papers...

For the working people:
· Bill Gates smiles at you every day...
· They once promised you better DTP than QUARK XPRESS and PAGEMAKER...
· Programms you work every day with simply never will be ported to
  the amiga...
